Dolomites 2025

6th September

Great trail with great views on surrounding mountains from the peak.

5th September

Great trail. On the way down however, a part of the trail is closed due to falling rocks (as of 5th September 2025).

4th September

Great hike. AllTrails doesn't have the correct map and it only takes you to smaller peak. At the fork, you have to turn right to go Sass de Putia. It's recommended to have via feratta kit but not needed in my opinion.

3rd September

Did it clockwise to combine with Roda di Vael. Great and easy via Ferrata with rewarding views but unfortunately infested with many tourists who don't have mountain etiquettes are selfish. A group of 10 choose to climb down and take half an hour instead of letting me go first. Multiple groups did it.

It's an easy via Ferrata but people like these make it very dangerous. Nature and mountains can be hostile and you don't wanna be in such selfish bunch of people.

2nd September

Very easy hike with great views on Marmolada.

1st September

Nice easy trail to see the Alpe de Siusi. I extended it all the way to Alpe di Tires which is a nice addition.

31st August

Started hike from Rifugio Passo Staulanza all the way up to Monte Pelmo.

30th August

Great trail. First part ascends nicely. After the fork, it goes up steeply. There are fixed steel cables in first section that are not technically via Ferrata. I recommend taking the fixed cable route instead of what's marked in AllTrails.

29th August

Going up and down Forella Staunies is the most difficult part of trail.

28th August

27th August

Great trail, and it’s relatively easy one. The trail has 3 fixed cables but doesn’t require via Ferrata equipment, just proper shoes should provide enough grip!

26th August

Great via Ferrata, not technical but very exposed and very long. Going down via normals is also very difficult and long.

Better spend the night in Rifugio Coldai or Rifugio Torrani!

25th August

Great trail with 360 views on mountains of Dolomites!
