Euro Trip Part 1: Central Europe

Landed in Berlin, settled into our Airbnb, and instantly felt at home wandering the lively streets around Alexanderplatz.

Toured the stunning Berlin Cathedral, the vintage cars at Classic Remise, and ended at a magical Brandenburg Gate by night.

Visited the Berlin Wall Memorial, Museum Island, and the beautiful Charlottenburg Palace before a long night chat at Brandenburg Gate.

A relaxed day roaming random streets, capped by a 360° view of Berlin from the 368m TV Tower.

Woke up early and headed to the airport for our next stop.

Trained into Paris and hit the classics — Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and a tremendous night view from the top of the tower.

Wandered the city's streets and architecture before getting lost in the enormous Musée du Louvre.

An idle morning, then a bus to the airport for the next destination.

Fell for Barcelona's old streets at first sight, marveled at Sagrada Familia, and watched sunset over the city from Montjuïc Castle.

Spent the day hiking the breathtaking trails and Benedictine monastery of Montserrat Mountain.

A perfect, easy beach day along Barcelona's shore before packing for the next destination.

Survived a stormy flight into Geneva — one of the worst storms our host had seen — and rested up for the city.

Took the cable car up Mont Salève and lingered by Lake Geneva — the city's real charm is its surrounding nature.

Flew to Rome with an awesome view from the plane.

Arrived to Rome's golden-lit streets, ate great pizza from a local pizzeria, and wandered the city at night.

Explored the mighty Colosseum and the ancient ruins atop Palatine Hill.

Braved the heat and crowds of Vatican City, then returned to see the spectacular interior of the Colosseum.

Found a fairy-tale Prague at night — the Old Town Square, the river, a huge night club, and the best KFC of my life.

A sunny day of autumn colors — Vrtba Garden, the view from Petřín Tower, the John Lennon Wall, and Charles Bridge.

Got happily lost on the way to the National Monument in Vitkov before heading home from my first Europe trip.
