Isle of Skye

Landed in Edinburgh, picked up car and started driving to Isle of Skye. Made a stop for dinner at The Whispering Pine Lodge and continued to Skye. Arrived at our Airbnb in Portree and went to sleep.

First hike, had breakfast at Birch Cafe and then drove to starting point of the hike. Hiked to the Old Man of Storr. It started to rain crazy towards the end of the hike. Returned back to Portree, walked around the town and had dinner at The Isles Inn.

Very ambitious and busy day, had breakfast at Birch Cafe and then drove Lealt Falls viewpoint and then to Kilt Rock viewpoint. We went to Quiraing first but storm was raging so we decided to skip it and drive to The Fairy Glen. We hiked in the Fairy Glen and then drove back to Quiraing. On th way to Quiraing, we made a stop for lunch at Uig Hotel. We did the hike but at one point it got scary as winds were not letting us walk forward and it was becoming impossible to even maintain balance. After finishing hike, we drove to Staffin Beach and had dinner at The Hungry Gull. They had a pub night that evening so we got to sit with strangers and socialize.

We started the day by driving to Dunvegan Castle and then to Coral Beach. Afer that, we had a awesome huge lunch at The Stein Inn. We then drove to Neist Point.

After having breakfast at Birch Cafe, we drove to Fairy Pools to hike. It rained so much that we got soaking wet.We then drove to Talisker Bay. We made a stop for Oysters at The Oyster Shed and then went for lunch at The Three Chimneys at Talisker.

As per usual, we had breakfast at Birch Cafe and then drove to Loch Ness. We made a stop for lunch at The Whispering Pine LodgeInn. We then drove back to Edinburgh airport and flew back to Amsterdam.
